SplashCast Media posted a great video that talks about the differences between all of the consumer facing video sites on the web today. The companies compared include:
- blip.tv
- Brightcove
- Veoh
- Vimeo
- Mixpo
- Panjea
- Revver
- YouTube
- Metacafe
- Daily Motion
- MySpace video
- iFilm
- Joost
- ClipSyndicate
- Grouper
- VodPod
The ones I see missing from this list are VideoEgg, AOL and Yahoo's video offerings. Who else would you put on this list?

The Fifth Network. They do a lot of the things Brightcove does (offer a content management system, video player, syndicated content) but they also have social/community networking packages you can use with their player and I think they integrate their digital video solution with VoD (offline). Pretty cool.

Mixpo is currently Win32 only, but I do know that won't be for long. They have a Mac Version that I have seen working.

This site offers everything that YouTube has to offer plus many exceptional added in features like a Twitter feature, built in Blog system, VMB which is the Vidora Media Browser with built in search bar and Vidora Media Player which allows for multitasking if you feel the need to watch a video while working on your word document.
