Everything You Wanted To Know About Transcoding

About two weeks ago, StreamingMedia.com hosted a nearly 90 minute webinar with Rhozet on the subject of transcoding. The information presented was excellent and the slide deck Rhozet used has tons of info on many different aspect of transcoding with lots of technical details. We had hundreds of questions sent in by attendees and Rhozet spent almost 30 minutes answering dozens and dozens of questions.
If you want to know anything about the subject of transcoding, check out the on-demand archives of the webinar and download the slide deck from the presentation.

Great overview - Codecs, Containers and Profiles can be very confusing for those starting out with video, and this presentation does a good job helping people get up to speed.

Nice work!
Just a few comments and clarifications on the slide deck...
Slide 21: You may want to call out Microsoft PlayReady DRM too - it's the DRM technology behind Silverlight DRM and it's not tied to the Windows platform.
Slide 22: Thanks for mentioning Smooth Streaming! :) Though I want to make sure that it's understood that Smooth Streaming media does not _have to_ be encoded at 6 bitrates - that was just what we used for SmoothHD.com. You can have as few as 1 bitrate and as many as... well, anything above 30 would probably be overkill.

It's a great work! BTW, slide 25: it is written as "Shameless Promotion". Is this typo of "seamless"?
