StreamingMedia.com Website Re-Launches, Feedback Welcomed

A few days ago, we re-launched the StreamingMedia.com website with a new design, layout, navigation and whole host of technology changes on the back end. The former site was running using a very old database and CMS which have all been updated. The best part, the site now loads fast, is stable, the new nav makes it easy to find content and the search function actually returns results you are looking for. It's a much cleaner looking site and lot more easier to use.

We're still working on some of the broken links and re-directs from the old site and will continue to fix links over the coming days. If you come across anything that is broken, please send an email to help@streamingmedia.com so we can correct it. We also welcome any feedback on the new site which you can leave here in the comments section.

Also, the current content on the site goes back about 5-6 years. However, we still have every piece of content on the industry dating back to 1998. So if you are looking for a really old article, press release or other piece of content from way back when, just email me and I'll be happy to track it down for you.

I like it much better then the former version. That looks now like it is 2010 and not 1998 ;)

A much needed and highly successful facelift! The new layout is very nav user friendly. My only feedback would be to consider making the video content more prominent by moving it up so that it can be viewed without scrolling when users first arrive on the site.

Bravo Dan! The redesign is great, the site loads fast and has a much better look and feel. I'll keep exploring, but my first take is it's a job well done. Big ups to everyone involved!

I hate it. Sorry to be the first post that hates it. Too confusing. The links for stories I have read don't change color so you forget if you viewed it.

Don't know where to go. The News box looks like advertisements so I don't click there. Too many ads. Great you are making money, but they are all over. Can never figure out which stories or what.

Sorry, liked the old one better.
